The San-chize makes history, Jets shoot to 3-0

This game was interesting from the start of Sunday morning. The temperature was 66 degrees and it was rainy at the Meadowlands. A stark contrast from the conditions Mark Sanchez played college ball in at USC.

Sanchez once again answered the bell. He went 17 for 30 for 171 yards. He threw for two touchdowns and ran for another. He hit Ben Hartsock (OSU graduate) for a touchdown off a beautiful play fake. He hit Jericho Cotchery 8 times for over 100 yards and another touchdown.

Basically what I got to see as CBS switched over to this game to show us the end, was the Jets defense pounding Kerry Collins and blitzing the Quarterback on any down in any situation. Rex Ryan is a lot like his daddy. They're for real. They're going to hang around all year. And they're going to do it in an entertaining fashion.

I'm excited to go to the sports bar this weekend and watch them take on New Orleans for what should be one of the better games of the weekend.

Does Sanchez remind anyone a little of Derek Jeter?

I like this Sanchez kid. He's come in to the league and in his first year stepped up to the plate. No watching from the sidelines or carrying a clipboard for this stud. The kid is gonna own the Big Apple a la Namath.

Nice choice Clint, how much longer before you switch allegiances again?
